Town & Country Optimist Foundation

Town & Country Optimist Foundation

Focus: The Town & Country Optimist Club is a non profit organization formed in 1974 by a group of North Austin parents to offer youth sports. The Club promotes the ideals of Optimist International and supports the North Austin area by providing quality youth sports facilities and programs. Club goals are to provide opportunities for all who wish to participate and to promote an environment of learning and sportsmanship in all activities. The Club also supports youth development through involvement in selected youth-oriented community activities.

Project Need: Despite their over 90 acres and 31 playing fields for soccer, football, baseball and lacrosse in NW Austin, the organization still feels not enough people in the surrounding area are aware of them due to being tucked away in a residential neighborhood. The club is seeking a smart social media plan which can be easily followed by the very small staff and its volunteers. They are seeking to attract parents of younger children to get the kids involved in sports in elementary school and to let them know they offer scholarships and payment plans (for families who qualify).

Skills Needed: A social media consultant who is familiar with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Might wish to partner with a marketing consultant to create a solid plan for the organization. Project manager always needed.

Everything was a huge hit! Everyone loved the new logo and all of the collateral materials. The Clinics were thrilled that we had used their pictures. I hope I get the opportunity to work with this great organization again in the future - it was such a pleasure!
